Ever since he was a
child growing up in the
small town of Waterdown,
Ontario, lyricist Tim Coates
has had a love for music.
He studied drums and guitar through
his school years and began to write poetry
and lyrics. After forming an abundance of lyrics he needed a musical outlet to express his inner thoughts and ideas. Tim enlisted Burlington based sing-songwriter Steve McPhail (Sonny Boy Mick, Fall From Grace) to collaborate on his material. The end result is THE MARSHALL BURN PROJECT, a collection of emotional pop rock songs that combine Tim's lyrical vision with Steve's energetic vocals and musical styles. |
